Dr. Tast grew up as an NYC native. She completed her undergraduate work at SUNY Stonybrook, before starting her Tufts veterinary education in Massachusetts. Post-graduation, she worked at Brookline Animal Hospital, where her long-term friendships with Dr. Hartman and Dr. Keesler found their roots. She left full-time clinical practice for a research opportunity at UMass medical school and as the veterinarian at Capron Park Zoo for 15 years. She has maintained a delicate balance while being employed at Wellesley Animal Hospital for the past 20 years. She is currently certified in Acupuncture and is happy to be with her Wellesley Animal Hospital clientele and community. Dr. Tast and her husband, Carl, live in Hopkinton, Massachusetts with only one emotionally needy and loved cat. She has finally acknowledged that spin class, yoga, and dance may have replaced her long-loved running sneakers. Dr. Tast shares science fiction genetics with her colleagues and friends and is an avid reader and watcher. She is always on the lookout for more mismatched earrings.
