Dr. Hedges grew up in New Jersey and worked as a veterinary technician in both New Jersey and New York before attending vet school. She then attended and went on to graduate from The University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Hedges practiced as a veterinarian in London for an additional three years, before returning to the United States and settling in the Newton area. Prior to joining Wellesley Animal Hospital, she worked at Newton Animal Hospital. Dr. Hedges enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a particular interest in the management of chronic diseases and senior pet care. Dr. Hedges enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young daughters, and their Jack Russell Terrier, Pudge.
